Painting Luftwaffe

Hi all first time for me here.

Right now im doing DML 16th luftwaffe field division.
Can some one inform me about the NCO uniform ?
i am useing Vallejo paints and for his uniform i did a base of 816 luftwaffe blue.
Now im not sure what to use for the highlights and shadows ?
any one ever do the luftwaffe uniforms ?

I also had a link with lots of colour photos in my browsers "collection" but of course when needed I can't find it ...

I don't use Vallejos for painting so I can not help you on this.
I primed a figure from the Anzio set lately but that was done with humbrols.

I too use Vallejo paint and would go with Field Blue (sorry do have the number handy posting from work), and shade with 816. That's what I did on a FD figure I'm working on.

Is it ok to use Vallejo and pollyS togeather i was thinking i could prime with pollyS do my paint job with Vallejo ?

Sure, you can use those paints together. You can mix them if you like. For overcoats, be sure the undercoat is fully dry (more than 24 hours) to be sure the paint you add doesn't lift off what's underneath.

I prime all my figures with PollyScale paints.

So Captnenglish your useing 964 field blue for base and 816 luftwaffe blue as shadows ok i can see that what are you mixing with your 964 for the highlights are you useing white ?
