Hello Guys . Going up with Ulrich Puchala bust series . The next 2 boxarts that will be painted side by side will be Sissy I emperess of Austria - Hungary .

the bust needed no cleaning at all as the casting was superb. I have entered pins for hand , base and head , glues all parts except left arm which will be attached later .

A truely beautiful woman , really looking forward to seeing how you set about painting the flesh , she looks so delicate in the pictures .

well as long she kept the mouth closed.her teeth where horrible as where most of people of this time.therefore all old paintings show them solem and never smiling.at this time it was common practice to suck on small pastilles wich where made with herb extracts and other strong smelling ingrediences to lower the stench of rotting teeths.
she was assasinated and stabbed with an nail file quite an uncommon waqy to die.

Well well - it's amazing what you find out, yes all the old masters or portraits were with mouth's closed, saw some 17th & 18th century paintings last week, a pity.Good start also.
 
I don't post here much but the subject matter interested me !!! Love the figure and looking forward to progress . I must express this !! seems many people sometimes say Oh!!! you paint figurines but I feel the work we do places us as artists ...

Βλεποντας το εργαστηρι σου χθες, ετρεξα κατευθειαν σπιτι για να βαψω και εγω με μανια.Τελικα το εστησες για τα καλα τον χωρο ''ευχαριστησεις''!!!!
