Hi all,

Just a quick post of my latest figure from andrea. It is my first figure painted with acrylics. I usually paint using oils. Plus, it has been awhile since my last creation. I'm still working fixing little things. The pictures are not very good. When it will be finished. I'll take better pictures.

Rest assure that I'm not a fan of the man or the cause. I just wanted to try to paint with acrylcs and I tought it could look good with a little background. Hope you will like it. Comments are welcome!

I'm not sure about his feet. He seems to be standing on his heels with the tips in the air. Can't see it very well though

Good work.
Like Patrick i would recommend that you look to the fitting of the figure. It seems that his left foot is flying above the grond..
Further i find you did a good paintjob. The base is good to.

Thanks for the comments!!!

So far, actually, nothing is glued. I've still want to finish some little details on the figure and then I will decide on where everything will go on the base.

Hi Clarence,

I like the painting very much and the setting matches it well, I think the banner hanging in the air gives the same extra dimension as the ribbon, I'd leave it there.
My only suggestion would be to cut the wooden boards round along the base, the sharp square shapes draw the attention away from the composition.

Thanks
Denes
