I seen this fella last month and thought he looked great.
He's sculpted by the same guy who did the Pegaso Mirmillo/Thracian.

SCULPTOR: Richard Galicek
PAINTER: Alexander Cortina

MATERIAL: Resin

PIECES:7

SCALE:1:9

Parts were well packaged and came in the usual sturdy Pegaso box which shows multpile views of the figure.

The torso is extremely well sculpted and shows immense detail including, armour scales, medusa motif, laces and buckles. The head is already attatched and is without helmet to make painting the face much easier.
There are two guideholes at the back of his shoulders shown in the photo to help you locate the cape to the figure correctly.

Helmet:
The helmet does need a wee bit prep because of some flashing. Some careful file work on the edges needed also.
The crest comes in two parts which require a wee bit work so they fit snug. They are moulded in sections to help you locate where the change in colour from red to white should be..a nice guide. Again just a wee bit work on some seams at the ends of the crest needed. There are also guide holes to get the crest in the correct position on the helmet.

The cape doesn't have the same quality feel to it as the rest of the resin. It doesn't feel as if it's the same scultper. It's much shinier and is not as sharply cast but I'll see what it's like once painted.
A wee bit work need on the edges to tidy up but it dry fits brillaintly onto the torso piece.

Hair: There is a small mass which is his hair. It's very well cast and crisp which ties with a leather binding. I wasn't too sure about whether I'd use this but a small back part of his head comes with the hair. I suppose you could sculpt this easily if you wanted to disregard the hair peice.

The dry fitted helmet changes the look of the figure completely

Conclusion: A very striking looking bust which looks dramatic. The casting is superb with some small niggles. The pieces all dry fit perfectly and I cant wait to start him.

Thanks Grant for the review and the photo's there sure is a lot more to this kit than meets the eye, the engineering is a marvel as well! :awesome:

hi i love the new spartan warrior !! it is exe, i think !! thank you luca for exe ,figuers !!.take care raty.(y)(y)

What I really like about this bust, is the dynamic composition it expresses. Most times it is very difficult to get nature involved with a static figure, much less a bust, but having the wind blowing and moving his clothing really seems to make it more tangible to the viewer.
