Pegaso 75mm Soldier of Christ

Just started this one from Pegaso. Its a lovely kit, although my example was missing the right lower eyelid. Have resculpted it but when a figure costs nearly £35 pounds dont see why I should.

Earliest days on this one, need to go back and neaten it all up......

The face looks the business! I had the same problem on a figure awhile back. All I did was paint on some Mr Dissolved Liquid Putty, it works a treat.

From personal experience and a subsequent couple e-mails with Luca Marchetti,(Mr. Pegaso himself) the company will gladly replace missing or defective parts. I was missing the horsehair crown on their Spartacus figure and they sent me one after an e-mail. When I wrote Luca about a weak and essentially defective lance, he offered a replacement, but I chose to amke a new one from brass.

I Have e-mailed pegaso twice with no reply, this is a commission so I have limited time to wait for a replacement.

Thanks all. Have now done all of the shading and highlighting, still needs a little work on the eyes. More soon. By the way its going to be another white figure as dictated by the commissioner.

Mark, its just a sepia basecoat over a white acrylic undercoat. I then progressively highlight the sepia with titanium white until I get what Im looking for. I work wet on wet the first day, then the next day I work wet on dry. Hope this helps mate. Hardy
