Hi Folks
Finally got this one finished this morning, still got a few wet parts on it but it is now in the hot box for a few hours drying off. Fairly pleased with the end result. All painted with oils over the top of humbrols,
Pegaso 90mm Crusader Knight, Any comments most welcome.
As usual more images on my web site including a movie of the figure located at the top of the menu in the “My Collection” Section

A beautifully superb result, Tommi.
Great figure and great painting, well done.

Wow

Wow

I really like the colors. The eyes are menacing and well done. Must be hard to work in a small areas like the eyes. I already have problems to paint them, as good as yours, on a simple figure with no helmet. I can't imagine doing it on this one!!!! Maybe one day...

Thanks for the inspiration!!!!

Many thanks guys for your kind comments,
Clarence, the face guard is a seperate piece on this kit so can be glued on after painting the face.

I am getting quite a few "how do you do this" PMs and email which is fine but it would be better to ask your questions in this thread on the forum as some of you are asking the same things, this way I can answer many questions at the same time, thanks for your interest.

I will be starting on the next figure tonight, wife has me painting the kitchen this afternoon, out with the paint roller 80[

Tommi,

Wow... I can't figure which is more impressive, the GREAT treatment of the eyes or your EXCELLENT whites.

A small sbs on both would be of great value if you get the chance.

VERY very nice!!

Absolutely stunning work.
Painted up to your high standard and that's higher and higher.
Great, great work....

Marc

PS: hope for your wife that the kitchen is half so good painted as this figure. Then see can be satisfied.

Many thanks guys for your interest and comments.

I am working on some SBS tutorials on painting black & white, heraldry painting, leather work, a few other hints and tips, all tutorials will have an SBS text reference, pictures and video clips for each section, these will be available on my web site very soon for free download, but remember this will only show how I do things as other fine painters out there have different ideas.

Cheers
Tommi

P.S. Marc already fed up painting the kitchen, the rollers are out and speed painting is the task of the day.:(

Excellent work Tommi, really great!!

Keep them rolling..........

What i like most is that you performed another painting scheme than the boxart. And thats also tempting me to do so . Nice work Thanks for the inspiration !!!
