Thanx Colin , I did not want to do the ubiquitous officer on the grey horse as it has been done by everyone; and the shako rouleau is a favourite of mine.
Another point is everyone seems to be ignoring the regulations Re Grey horses in the Napoleonic army

Which reg is that? That grey horses are for trumpeters and other than higher ups and staff, officers rode the same nags as the troopers (though perhaps of better quality)?

Sheen where it is to be expected and matt where it needs to be matt.
