Been painting this stunner from pegaso , have tried to make it a little more historical by dropping the leather cuirass and feathers on the helmet. You can see more pics on my website www.hardytempest.moonfruit.com

Almost can´t wait to see more!

I´m right behind you on improving the archaeologial authenticity of some of these very impressive figures - which doesn´t mean I don´t think they´re captivating and plausible as they are anyway.

Spike.

Thanks guys for posting.

Marc, great to talk to you at euro. Will try to attend your show in Antwerp next year. Hardy

Great work!!!

Can you tell me how did you make that armor??with green stuff of miliput??:D

best regards

Thanks for your kind comments, the armour was smoothed with a nail file. The detail is very lightly cast on the figure. Hardy

Hardy, I´m your big fan, And I must say, as always stunning job so far, I can feel you are still improving your amazing painting skills. But let me ask you a question, how you paint this weathered, old/dirty looking iron and brass areas, how do you achieve that it has these scratches and litle spots. My view is a perfect iron work and I would like to know the secret how you´re doing this great effect.thanks;)

Incredible work Hardy. You have my respect. The skin tone is perfect.
How did you paint the old and used leather, please?

Awesome work Hardy.
I'm not pleased as the face looks. I find it to pale ( i hope it is good English).
It is possible that the face is not finished. Then my apoligee.
What i find stunning is that cuirass. Excellent.

Marc

Thanks Guys.

Yes Marc the face is complete, I intentionally went for the pale looking skin tones as he has ginger hair and will be set in a cold climate. Wait till you see him at antwerp....
