Hello guys . Moments before this year goes by and the new comes, i finish my day , with finishing this brilliant Pegaso sculpture that i work on the last month or so

h1-2.jpg

It was one of the best made figures i ever met . No problems in firring or other issues, and it paints like a miracle .

As this is a comission for a collector i will definately paint this one for me also !!

I hope you like it

As always all comments are welcome , and i wish to everyone a happy new year

Costas, very nice rendition of this fine figure, I like the scene you have set the figure in, the painting looks good also as usual. The right arm seems to be fitted correctly too, seen a few of theses about that are wrong including my own, ( which is now correct and with its collector) nice work again my friend, like you I am painting another for myself.
All the best to you in 2009
Cheers
Tommi

Dear Tommi thanks for your compliments . I made several tries on the right arm so that the axe would go exactly where it should, and finally came ok .

Its a beautiful figure my friend , thanks for your wishes and i also wish you the best personally and for the family

best Regards

Costas very beautiful painting work on this great figure, another " must have " from Pegaso ... love the metal effects of the helmet. Can you shere your technique for that ?

Cheers Stefano

Stefano hi and thanks for posting

Metals are done with my own way that suits my painting

Base: oily steel + gloss black
Shadows: cassel earth λάδια
Lights : printers silver ink with a bit of tapping (hitting a flat brush almost unloaded )

Nothing fancy , but works !!!

Best Regards

Costas

Marc thanks for your words. This figure is a pleasure topaint .
I tried to enhance the picture a bit . regarding the helmet imagine that it was initially the only thing i hated on the figure because of its shape !!

Costas,
Great painted figure and love the colours. That is also a great base for him.
Happy and Prosperous New Year to you and yours.
Cheers
John
