Stefano hi and thanks for posting

Metals are done with my own way that suits my painting

Base: oily steel + gloss black
Shadows: cassel earth λάδια
Lights : printers silver ink with a bit of tapping (hitting a flat brush almost unloaded )

Nothing fancy , but works !!!

Best Regards

Costas

Ok thanks Costas, I 've never tried painting directely the metal with oil steel , once I thought to do but I changed way, in the next figure I will try..

Best regards and a happy figure painting new year..

Stefano

Stefano after trying many methods for metals , many have worked, but this is a standard one that i know in advance what results i will get so ....i hope it will suit you

Very nice version of this cracking figure, got this one for Christmas so will be painting it soon. Love your groundwork Costas did you make it yourself or is it a commercial item.
Happy New Year
David

Great figure and excellent paintwork Costas.
Wonderful basework as usual which is a great addition to the figure.

Regards,
Marcel.

David hi and thanks for your posting . Scenery is half commercial and half mine. The arch itself is commercial , but the lower base block of it , and the ground stonework is made by me with epoxy putty . The arch is a remaining part of an old resin kit that i cannot recall the maker , but it could be from Fondegris

You will enjoy this one for sure , its a great piece

Best regards

Costas

Great piece indeed my friend Costa. Your blacks came out nicely and the whole scenery too...I can't wait to see your next project.

Xenofon

Hello my friend Xenofon . well hundreds of projects are tickling my mind, but for the next 15 days i ll be out of home so no modelling at all. But then......

An ancient thread resurrected after almost 6 years, but it's great work.
