Very nicely done indeed, he’s turned out very well indeed, the ground work has come out very well too. Are you taking him to the show on Sunday ? Would be good to see him in the flesh. You see you do enjoy the bigger scales lol

Cheers Steve, yes he will be at BC this weekend and yes I did enjoy it and will do more in the future.

You're first 75 has turned out great mate! The rifle looks lovely. Great basing. Certainly suits the sculpt. Like he's stopped mid hike for a puff. It's nice and wild looking.
What is the cotton shoot/wheat looking things?

Great job.

Hi Rocco, many thanks for that, the cotton/grass stuff is simply bristles off a decorating paint brush with crumbles insulation foam stuck on the end with PVA. Old school ground work I know but I'm not trying to display specific plant life, that's just going too far for me.

Cheers Simon

Fantastic work, Simon. First class paint job and I love how you did the base.
Congratulations
Mel

Thanks Mel, was a lot easier than I thought, I like to keep the bases simple as I'm not interested in entering competitions so I'm not spending loads on nice tall plinths in exotic wood. Plus if I keep the finished article not too tall I can keep the shelves in the cabinet closer together and cram more in.

Yes Simon,
I think he's great! Good presentation And color.
Like it great work!

Cheers Hans

Lovely work, it's an intriguing subject and well painted. I like the base, I feel like I need to be more imaginative in my own attempts at basing figures.

Nice one mate. They look the part! I'll have a little experiment with them perhaps on another project I've started. I have a small variety of plants etc collected but nothing like those in my box

Nice work mate.

Steve, Blind Pew, Hans. Warhammer and Gary, many thanks for your kind comments. Only thing to do now is start a new project!

Nice work mate.

Rocco, I do like to make my own plant life where I can, I had a storage box full of bits picked up outdoors but put it all om the compost heap when I stopped making dioramas, D'Ho!

Cheers Simon

Very nice indeed Simon, this has come together really well. I can definitely see the improvement in your painting.

Many many thanks for that Nigel, it took a couple of kicks in the backside for me to sort my act out. Being on PF with encouragement like yours has really helped.
