Hello Planeteers,
After painting for some years now I finally had the courage to do a large scale bust.
I finished Pegaso's Venetian Admiral yesterday. Painted in oils and acrylics.
(I didn't use the shield on the back; somehow it didn't fit anymore after a few coates of primer and paint).

Nice work Patrick. The skin tones are beautiful, nice subtle shading on the whites and reds and the eyes are very well done. All in all a very nicely composed piece (y)

Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
Billy :)

Hi Patrick,
If that's you plucking up courage, then I'd love to see the standard when you are courageous. A lovely piece of painting all round, everything is on the money, love the hair, what is you colour mix?
cheers
Richie

Yes, that is beautiful work Patrick!

As others have stated, the flesh tones are especially well done.

Excellent work all round!
