I have just finished my third scratch .
Based upon the famous work of Jean-Léon Gérôme.
I'm gonna call the vignette " The streets of Caïro".
The figure is sculpted with a mixture of Green Stuff and Magic Sculpt.
The hands and the head are from the Nemrod Historex range . Great details there !
I had some trouble with the tiger's head . Because it's a pelt ,the skull is removed by the hunters and the original structure is somewhat lost . In the painting this is also vivsible .
Because I wanted to have some kind of reference to a tiger's head I deceided to give it some more volume . It took me about two days to get it right and restarted several times . I even tried to cut the head from a cheap plastic tiger play figurine but always it went wrong .
I had to do it completely from scratch . With the colours added I hope its ends well .
The scenery is from the pegaso , a beautifull range of settings , produced in resin and very detailed. Not very cheap guys .
I hope to start the painting tomorrow .
To be continued .
