I just got another email from our friend Pepe and after studying these photos myself and drooling some I decided not to hold back any longer.

Now I have no excuse for not starting this figure.......best reference in the world.

I keep coming back and looking at these Pepe. What do you use for the grass on the Celtic figure. Is it painted after applying? It looks so natural. I love your work and thank you for sharing.

Hi Guy and Kisifer,

I am writing from the computer in the office (job), this afternoon will write from my home and I will try put a photo of the material used.

It is a little carpet with grass, used for train dioramas, with a very good natural colour, but I paint is always with tamiya acrilyc colours.

Pepe emailed me with some photos of the grass he uses and sent some photos of the product and the box it comes in.

That is the product from the trader NOCH, I add many times several and diferent hairs longer in order to do a realistic aparience.
And painted by brush with Tamiya Acrilycs diluyed in alcohol. greens tone and browns.

That grass looks terrific--much better than the Woodland Scenics static grass I've been struggling with to make behave! Guy--if you find out where to get this stuff, please let me know!!!
