Pickett And Longstreet

This Ron Tunison sculpture depicts Confederate General James Longstreet reluctantly giving General George Pickett the order to commence the attack on the Union center at Gettysburg on July 3 1863. Like all of Tunison’s work the sculpt is amazing and is approximately 200mm scale. I originally painted this about 20 years ago in enamels and was never happy with the way it came out, so I did a complete repaint in artist’s oils with much better results.
