Banco Antonio (1773-1812)
Baron of the Empire, Colonel (25 March 1805). Born in 1773 in Poland, in 1789, at the age of 15, he entered the Austrian military service with the rank of lieutenant of a hussar regiment, participated in the Austro-Turkish war, was wounded and retired. In 1794, he entered the French military service with the appointment of the Corsican fighter battalion (Cacciatori Corsi), took part in the hostilities against the Austrians in the north of Italy, was captured during the battle of Sospello but managed to 'escape. In 1797, he fought a part of the Lombard Legion (Legione Lombardia), formed into corporals, then sergeants, in 1799 to mark the difference in the battle of Verona (Verona), where he was wounded, got the rank of lieutenant. In 1800, he distinguished himself at the siege of Ancona (Ancona), promoted captain and appointed adjutant to General Pino (Domenico Pino), on March 25, 1805 - colonel, squadron commander of the Royal Jaegers (Cacciatori reale), May 21, 1807 - Adjutant of the Viceroy Eugene de Beauharnais. From 1808 he fought in the Iberian Peninsula, where he commanded three squadrons of cavalry belonging to the Italian division of General Lecci (Joseph (Giuseppe) Lechi). Took part in the Russian campaign of 1812, commanded four squadrons of the 2nd Italian cavalry regiment in the 13th Brigade of Light Cavalry of General Willat (Giovanni Villata von Villatburg) of the 4th Army Corps, fighting under Vitebsk, Velizh and Borodino, November 3, 1812 killed in the battle of Vyazma at the age of 39 years. Knight Legion of Honor, Commander of the Order of the Iron Crown. March 25, 1805 - Colonel, squadron commander of the royal "Chasseurs" (Cacciatori reale), May 21, 1807 - adjutant of the Viceroy Eugene de Beauharnais (Eugene de Beauharnais).
