Would you believe that I'm speechless here ...

Well, seems to me you've added something very special here to the sum total of all the excellent miniatures that have been created so far in this hobby. And oh by the way, I'll have one - expect an order from me around X-mas time :)

A terrific piece Quang. Another gem. (y) (y)

I'm curious how you did the textures on the cradleboard. Did you stamp the wet putty?

qaund when i saw this piece not painted i said that is really going to be good but now to see it painted omg it is so awesome my mouth is still on the floor.the horse is got to be one of the best painted horses ive seen never mind everything else bro.i want to say thankyou because i do love american indian pieces and will be getting this one.do you know what your doing next i am anxious to hear.please keep the indians comming.yours are some of the best in the buisness.thanks again johnny

OK brethren, I'll have to fess up... I was weak. I have failed to resist to so much beauty, such a temptation. :(

I have ordered one from PiLiPiLi.....

Thank you folks for all the kind words. :)

John: The texture on the cradleboard came from an old-style fabric band-aid ;). The band-aid was pressed on the wet putty as you've rightly guessed.

Johnnyboy: Glad you like the painting of the horse. I hope to be able to post the s-b-s... soon!

Johan: I took good note of your order. Who's that Ali guy anyway? One of of Richard Burton's long lost relatives?

Q.

Ali ???

... OOOOPS, I notice now - gee, suppose someone takes offense and lashes out at me, I'd better be a good boy and quickly change that !!!!

Thanks Q, you saved my life !!!! My signature will be changed RIGHT NOW.

C'mon, are you tempting me to post a picture here of that sexy Halle gal ? ;)

Let's be serious, better use the bandwidth to give us some more shots of your Crow beauty, please, so we can save them for when we start painting. Some pictures of the actual Crow artefacts that you used as reference and some explanation on the colours (lilac etc) and motives would be very useful too.

Hey, why don't you give the Pf membership an article about the differences in decorative colours and motives used by the different well-known tribes : Sioux, Cheyenne, Crow, Apache, Blackfoot ... I'm sure it would help us a lot, and it would surely do something for the historical accuracy of our native american miniatures. And you're the man who could do it ! (y)

About Halle Berry ... In fact, with a little imagination the Halle gal could perhaps manage to look the part if they ever made a movie of Yellow Moon - Now don't YOU feel tempted to play a little bit with Photoshop ... ??

C'mon Q !!! ;)

... well, I still think you owe us a little photoshop joke; remember the North Sea Fisherman ? That was pretty cool .

Come on !!! Give it a try ! ;)

Quang,JAW-DROPPING impressive paintwork that you'd done there !!! WELL DONE (y) (y) (y) !!! Wish I could paint just as well ! Cheers.
Kenneth.

Nah. I'd rather stick with Chuck Berry.

"...Roll over Beethoven and tell Tchaikovsky the news." (y) (y) (y)

Q.
Hi Quang

The figure and horse are wonderful.

And we saw "Ray" last night. Super movie!
Better than "Hail, Hail, Rock and Roll." (I think that's the Chuck Berry biopic).

Cheers
Andy

Awesome work there quand. You did a great painting there giving to this figure a breathtaking reality. I'm stunned.

Dear Quang,

A very colourful and well done piece of work. Always enjoy your works and comments in the forum.

regards :)

WOW!

Thanks, Goeff (and Yau, Costas, Xenofon, Ken) for your kind words.

Andy: 'Ray' hasn't reached our shore yet but the last scene of 'Hail, Hail, Rock 'n Roll' where an old, mean, 'difficult' Chuck reveals his true self, playing on a steel guitar alone in his overstuffed interior is priceless. (y)

Johan: Sorry no PS play this time. Too busy elsewhere.

Cheers everybody,

Q. :)

Oh man!
I have to paint this piece for a friend... :  it will take me two years...
Good job Quang,I love it.
best regards
jaume
