Been a long time since I posted anything here so here goes...

It is Latorre's RFC Pilot. A nicely sculpted piece painted in painted in oils.

Nice work Ross. These pics are what, ten times life size?! The coat in particular looks great but I think the face is a little pale though, considering all the sun he'd likely get.

Great to see the leather actually done glossy, too many versions I've seen just don't look right because the coat is matt

very well done particularly the leather and fur did you use a gloss medium of some type on the coat?

Cheers chaps. Mike no medium was used just oils. Einion your right the pics are big. The face is a bit over exposed. It is a bit darker in real life.

Nice painting on a classic figure, the leather work shows of the advantages of using oils.
