Progress has been made in my conversion of Romeo Models Piper Kenneth McKay into a representation of Canadian Seaforth Highlander Piper James C. Richardson, V.C.

As you can see, I am pretty much done adding colour, and all that is left is suitable groundwork (not looking forward to scratchbuilding all that barbed wire, but I do have a method) and of course some weathering. Should have it all wrapped up in time for MMSI in Chicago.

Great job Glenn. Awesome conversion and great work on the colour scheme... Well done.
I am really toiling over the decision about Chicago... I'll probably drive and try to grab a room nearby. I'm dying to go but I'm going to NYC next week and I'm planning a new chopper project in the next couple of weeks. AAACK! Such a busy fall schedule (two local shows as well)... what to do, what to do?

Someone tell me Chicago is needed for my overall well being...

Colin

Thanks very much everyone. I appreciate your well wishes for Chicago, and I am excited for the chance to show this figure in person, as I am always concerned that my photography skills aren't up to standard. I'm mostly excited about the chance to meet up with people, so if I see you there, I hope for a chance to answer any questions you may have about the figure or Piper Richardson.

Cheers Zeno. Ray Welshman has promised to introduce me to all of his Ontario Friends, so I am sure we will cross paths. Thanks also Adrian, I do work quickly while on holidays, but now that school is started again, my students will force me to slow down.
