Not a caption but an anecdote. That photo reminds me of when I was in training at the RN Gunnery School, HMS Cambridge.
One of our duties was Duty golf clubhouse Rating. After sunset we you had to go round the golf course, collect all the flags and put them in a shed, lock the door and return the key to the guardroom. Easiest duty I had to do in 22 years.
Just to clarify HMS Cambridge was a shore establishment not an actual floating ship.
