Last fall AC Models released his "Pluck Yew" Longbowman at Agincourt which after recieving it has become my favorite of Andy's busts. Loaded with facial character and complete with optional 2nd head this kit is comprised of 5 resin parts and 1 legnth of wire for the bowstring.

Arriving in a sturdy white cardboard box with all the parts wrapped in bubble wrap. All the parts were sealed inside a clear plastic zip-lok bag to insure against loss during shipping. The bottom photograph above shows the parts out of the box and bag ready for inspection.

Conclusion:
An excellent kit full of character that Andrew Cairns seems to put into each of his figures and busts. Seam lines need to be removed and sanded smooth. No mold blocks to be removed. Highly recommended.

Good review Guy, although some mould seems are quite pronounced. I also prefer the helmeted option, as the bowl haircut version reminds me of the hair cuts my military serving father used to give me AAaaagh!
well done again Andy.

That style of helmet was not current in 1415 : much more like the style of sallet worn in about 1460.
As a wise man once said, it's very important to remember that the Middle Ages didn't all happen at the same time....

The finger sign is great history and represents perfectly the spirit that created the Empire, though of course that was a bit further down the road. Evocative piece, Andy. Wonderful sculpt. Can't really get worked up about the tin hat.--
