 Hi, planetarians!!!!!

It this a project that took me various months (or years???) It’s a diorama of Zaleszczyki
Bridge. That bridge was utilized by Polish troops to withdrawal to Romanian border in the final stages of 1939 campaign.

I had been made the figures first, where are a mix of brands> Tamiya, Italeri, S-Models M-Models, Warriors, all up dated with Hornet and Warriors heads and NCO Historex hands.

The Polish equipment was copied from S-Models sets with EP and RTV molds. With some work involved I can do some respectables figures. The weapons are Tamiya and Italeri modified to do Polish small arms.

All are painted with acrylics in very very flat finish, I use decorative craft paints like Duncan and Americana brands mixed with hobby paints like Vallejo and Andrea colors, except the leathers and flesh tones that are painted in satin finish

I hope you like it

Excellent work Carlos. I have edited the size of your photos to fit within the screen so all can be able to download the page. Please keep your pictures within the size of the posting.

Hope to see more of your work.

Carlos,
so far a very fine looking figures assembly - muy, muy buenas figuras...
I am very curious to see the whole diorama because of the subject matter - you have chosen to depict a very sad moment in the Polish history.
Yet, at the same time, this crossing moment was quite glorious because those thousands of Polish officers and soldiers, who luckily had crossed that bridge into Romania, later were able to continue fighting their Nazi German enemy at Narvik, France and Belgium, the Battle of England, Tobruk, El-Alamein, Sicily, Monte Cassino, Normandy, Falaise etc while escaping the murderous hands of the Soviet-Stalinist henchmen that in 1940-41 murdered many thousands(more than 20,000) of top Polish army officers at Katyn, Kozielsk etc. The Zaleszczyki crossing was for some Poles the provebial light at the end of a very dark tunel - Soviet Union attacked Poland on Sept.17.1939 and then partitioned Paland in partnership with the Nazi Germany, thus bearing equal responsibility for the 2nd World War as the Germans...
Buenissimo trabajo pero quieremos ver mas :)
