Hello Guys, just to show you why I've been so quiet since Euro - this is what I've been working on....hope you like it ....

At this point I must thank Roy Hunt for the invaluable help he gave me in converting the right arm - which is essentially what made this project possible. Thanks again mate ;)

Awesome................beautiful work Anthony. Any chance of a photo of the full horse and figure?

Anthony, this is really great.
So far i like it. I think he isn't finished yet???
If so, excuse me, but i think that the white can have some more contrast specially the gloves, and you got to check his left eye.
Sorry for the needpicking,

Marc

Thanks again Fellas, you're very kind as always. ;)

Marc, I reckon I'm a victim of bad lighting...looks ok in the flesh. That's my excuse anway  I will aim to get to the AMSS next year so you can see it for real.

Paul, yes I work (almost!) exclusively in oils - the reds are W & N Permanant Magenta, which is set from the tube onto a peice of paper to get the excess oil out, and highlights done by mixing it with W & N flesh.

Peter, this is Andrea's 90mm Polish Lancer trooper S8-F38. Obviously, he's converted into a trumpeter of the same regiment. My research told me that all he really needed was a different right arm, which Roy aided me with considerably. Ok he did it...I thouroughly enjoyed the research aspect of converting this figure and well recommend doing this.

Gary you're right. This guy shouldn't get run over wearing this...

Guy, some other pictures for you mate. I did have another but the focus wasn't great.
