1/10th scale resin

Sculpted & Painted by Young B. Song

My first review as a regular member is Young Miniature's Polish Winged Hussar. Packaged in the traditional black sturdy box with the parts sandwiched between foam.

The kit is comprised of 8 parts including an optional small resin base and a brass etched name plate.

The bust is loaded with detail with Youngs attention to detail. Small pour blocks are easily cleaned from the bottom of the base (shown in photos) and the pour block at the bottom of the plinth can also be easil removed (removed for review)

Once again we have the beautifully sculpted head with moustashe and eyebrows. The pour block was removed for review and easily came off with an xacto knife.

The feather vanes are cast as one piece for each side and the feathers are beautifully sculpted. A small locator slot is on the bottom of each vane to match up with tabs on the back of the bust.

The single feather has a small pour block at the bottom that can be easily removed and the feather attached to the front of the hat.

Conclusion:

Another excellent bust from the talented hands of Young B. Song and sure to be seen at all the shows. The bust can be easily cleaned up and prepared for painting.

OH YEAH BABY! I should be getting mine in the mail today! Can't wait, thanks for the great review Guy. Nice to see some good shots of the raw bust. I have to say, the molded in feathers on the wings are a VAST improvement over the old Diorama Studio version with the seperate feathers. Great stuff!
