The samurai theme is widely represented in miniature. Beautiful armor, dynamic figures. In search of variety, I decided to sculpt 3-4 unusual fighters for the era of Sengoku jidai - strongmen "from the people", armed with what they managed to find-steal ;-) 75 mm, magic sculpt and beesputty. The first "tough guy"

Beautiful sculpts, guessing these are sumo gents, especially the first one. If memory serves the second fellas weapon is a No Dachi, a big sword, a really big sword!

I haven't tried the bees wax putty but heard lots of good things about it, is it usable with plastic parts given the need to heat it to cure?

Cheers Simon

I didn't use the plastic, beesputty requires the owen
No I use plastic for the armature but have always stayed away from the polymer putties like Bees Wax and Sculpey Firm but would like to give them a go, guess I'll have to make a proper armature and stop being lazy!

Many thanks

Cheers Simon
