I think this looks great. I know there was some back and forth over whether Carls Lincoln looked like Lincoln, or resembled Lincoln. For me, yours looks more like Lincoln, and I think I know why. Its got the right somber expression. I couldn't put my finger on why I thought Carls just resembled Lincoln, and I think its because that to me, the expression on his looked more precocious than somber, like he was having a little laugh to him self. Almost a little smile instead of that "straight frown" look, for the want of a better description. The eyes on his seem to have a little more expression to them than Lincoln fairly morose look. Lincolns expression was as much cause by his asymmetrical face than it was anything, (he wasn't actually pulling his mouth to the side, it was that way because oneside of his face was smaller than the other, and I think that stretched things around a bit) and I think yours captures that very well. Still hard to put into words, but yours captures the look just a little better IMHO. Nice work.
Cheers

BTW, not sure why you removed the hair, I think yours matched Lincolns at different times pretty well

Nice job. I would build up the top of the head a bit. I also think the lower lip and the brows need more volume. I think the key to this piece is getting the asymmetry of his face right. I don't think there is any doubt about who he is supposed to be. Good job!

Yep, I think Matt is right on. More cranium, more lip. Its looking good. I think you have really nailed the tired eyes.

thanks Matt and Jason for the tips!
lower lip is a bit longer now, some cranium added and asymetry on his right side, also right ear and eyebrow has been lower to simulate that fisical issue he had as can see clear in this portrait pic: (beard should be falling to the other direcction I see now)

thanks again mates!(y)

Hey, thats looking good. One thing I noticed that I hadn't really paid attention to before is how his bottom lip and mouth kind of stick out on his right side, like a fat lip or something. Like everything else on his face, its uneven. I think the lower lip on yours might need to be rolled over a little more and perhaps even a little larger, with more of the top showing. Right now it appears a little sharp edged and with as much bottom as top. Everything else is looking spot on IMHO.
Abe really did have some unique features, didn't he???
Cheers
Jason

Edit
Another thing I noticed is the beard. When I watched the linked video about death masks, and looked at the pictures of him, I noticed just how rough and "bristly" his beard is. At this point yours might be a little too neat and fine.

Its been said that later in his life he developed a deformity on the lower right side of his face causing a somewhat distorted lower lip.It does show on the photo you posted. If you look online you could probably find photos of his life and death masks that I have seen.Don't know how picky you what to get because its looking pretty darn good.

Hi Eduardo,
For me, the hair as you had it previously is more characteristic and how I picture him, but either is equally as accurate. I just like the first style better. The important aspect of the beard IMHO is its coarseness as much as length, but I do think the longer beard would be more conducive to making it suitably scrubby. Also, I was playing around with the picture of Lincoln and the straight ahead shot of yours, laying one on top of the other and fading it in and out, and one thing that popped out was the missing whiskers on the sides of his face, between the sideburns and the beard.
Cheers

Hi ANTONIO!
Heres a quick Photoshop to point out where I think some whiskers need to be
