My thanks is all to Carl, thank you for another great piece for my range :)
And of course thanks to all of you for the very nice comments.
Looking forward to Euro and seeing you
Best wishes

I
Euro release or not, I suspect it would be a wise move to leave my credit card at home for Euro - I suspect it might turn out cheaper to let my wife go shopping with it!

Mike
think it might be cheaper to give it a complete stranger to go shopping with....LOL...really nice bust...Kevin

There is only one answer to this production rate......Carl is the evil overseer of a child labour sweatshop somewhere in the Midlands.

Now I know what I can ask for Christmas(y)

Cheers buddy!

It's not as easy as it sounds Paul. They cost me fortune in gruel and whips mate! I've already worn out three whips this week... lol.

Carl

Only Three whips mate will have to sell you a few more get them to work faster. see you in the Bar Friday mate not long now buddy.

Ian

Absolutely stunning!
Thank you, Carl. Greys charge is my favourite subject and I am always looking for new releases.
This piece is superb! Realistic movement, nicely detailed, bearskin "under the wind", previously metioned cheeks... Thank you sooo much!
I will order it as soon as available!
I would conclude this saying "as good one as those released by Corry recently".
In fact, and far from being polemic or bothering unintentionally anyone, I cannot help typing how strange is that two highest class artists and colleagues have delivered two busts and same topic amost at the same time. Great news for me, anyway :)
I just wonder if any of these busts will become a full mounted figure.
Perhaps an oppotunity to compete with the impressive and already a classic Conrad's Chasseur a Cheval.

Iñaki

PS: apologize me for my English and again thank you, Mr. Reid.
Congratulations from Spain!

Thank you Inaki for your kind words my friend!
The Scots Grey wad the natural and fitting piece to accompany the Inniskilling dragoon and Coldstream.
I'm glad you like him.
I'm looking forward to seeing him painted.

Carl

Thank you for replying so quick, Carl. I see this site works very well and you are very available!
Do you mean that the three figures match perfectly together, or that they might be offered someday to build a large scale vignette???
By the way, I don't know about the Inniskilling...
I do believe the bust as it is now, is simply perfect. However, I admit being a fanatic of large scales when the busts are so great. FYI, I have just ordered the 200mm "complete" Lord Paget and I am eager to receive it!

Thanks!
