Preview 1;9th Scale bust of Louis Zamperini

Hi Guys,

This is a piece I have just finished for a new company called HQ Model kits.

I was asked by my client to post some preview images of Louis Zamperini.
He was quite a character, a member of the US Air Force, 372nd Bombardment Squadron during ww2. A POW, and an Olympian.

The posture and concept of the piece was based on a photo of him as an Veteran, an elderly man holding a trophy, a Nazi flag! Except my client wanted him to look a little younger. Not an easy thing to achieve, because there are only a few images of him, one as an Elderly man with the flag and a couple of him as an Olympian. My task was to create something that lay somewhere in middle. Like I said not easy!

Anyway guys, I hope like him!

It is an usual subject, but an interesting one!
