Absolutely incredible, one of my favorite uniforms from the ACW. Here is another reference photo a Don Troiani piece. Keep these Civil War pieces coming they just keep getting better and better!!!

Yet another masterpiece. A must have. I agree with some of the others. A standard bearer from the union forces. How about the 69th at Fredericksburg.

Again, great job, even though this bust, I really like the most. It is excellent in all aspects, which is nothing new for you, but for me it is something more that I can not name. Simply - all of your amazing work, this is perhaps the most amazing for me:)(y) . Thanks for sharing, Carl. Keep up the great work;) . Cheers Borek

Carl - That is past AWESOME - can't wait for it to be released - yesterday works for me!!! Just think Euro is right around the corner - I will be in jail for bank robbery by then!! Dave

Hello guys, I want to congratulate another time Carl for the wonderful bust, also on this forum (see fb...), and I can not wait to put it under my brushes!
I have a question for the experts from the American Civil War. On "Osprey - Men-at-Arms - 448 - Irish-American Units of the Civil War" publication, there is a table where the flag is colored different from the image published few posts above, but is also different from some pictures that I found on-line (I attach to the post).
What is the truth? The bottom of the writing is red, or green as the flag or light green (I believe the last hypothesis)?
I started to search documentations on the uniforms that the irish brigate has used, and I have found the publication Osprey very interesting (we do not consider the flag ...), but I would also confirmed for the uniforms.
Thanks

Fabrizio

Thank you Fabrizio!

I would follow your instincts. The Don Troiani painting shows the background green with a red edge and gold text. This is the best example. DT is arguably amongst the best authorities in ACW.
