Martin must be right, I have the same pics and all show the crossbelt passing over the shoulder scales so I`m gonna change it, the epaulettes on this original uniform have laces and are actually a façade of the whole epaulette in so far as the ends are laced to the coatee under the cuirass so I think that's correct, I can only presume the guy that put the original cuirrass together put the cross belt on incorrectly. Its an easy fix.
