Cheers guys for all your support, it's always appreciated. I only wish I had better words to express my appreciation, rather than regurgitating the same stock comments I use.

All I can is thank you!

With regards to legs being added to pieces. Some pieces will have legs added, and some won't! It just depends on the piece, my clients requirements and the market.

200mm figures are a tough sell on the whole, purely because of size, investment and the modelling communties requests. Its one thing seeing a handful of requests, its another selling the volume to justify the investment.
So I guess all that can be said is some will be converted into full figures and others wont be.

MarkS# I think this will be launched late May or June. The 77th highlander at Bushy Run will be launched in April.

Thanks again guys!

Carl

Carl you know sometimes I look at your bust faces and see Keith Richards there. One of the angles looks just like him, makes me buy them lol

Sorry Noel,
I think you're dead wrong in the way you ''look'' at Carl Reids sculpts. If you have or had and painted any of his pieces you would see.
If they looked like Keith Richards I don't think I would buy them.IMO,they all have their own personality.
..........Just a friendly reply expressing my own opinion............Regards.......Wayne

Of course they have their own personalities and everyone has their own perception of all of these, Mine on a couple at certain angles with the high cheekbones he tends to use they look like Keef, this was not a criticism and being my own perception HOW does that make me dead wrong? Gimme a break

All you would have had to do was add the word "some" of your busts.
As I said...It was a friendly reply expressing my own opinion......sorry I ruffled your feathers...........Wayne

Regardless of what you think dude it was a direct attack at my opinion, I own several of his busts and admire the workmanship and look forward to each new endeavor of his. As a matter of fact I admire them so much that find myself buying them even when I have no interest at all in the period it might depict I just like his style, and if I think one or two resembles Keef so be it that's my opinion

Picked this up at Stresa, its as good in the flesh as it looks in the photos. Musket will need some surgery to keep straight though.

Does anyone have a good reference source for it? Anything In Osprey Washingtons army Vol l ?

Ben where does the image you posted a while back come from?

Cheers

Neil

Neil, the painting is painted by Don Trioni.
