My only comment concerning the figure is that the upper part of the legs could have been posed a little more relaxed (slightly diagonal) instead of horizontal.~Gary

thank you all for your good comments,about the water is made with epoxy glue in 4 layers.it is clear so you can add very very little cantity of oil color green or cobalt blue to give at the water the color you want,if you make lakes or rivers is better to put earth colors like burnt umber.

very nicely done! I love the parrot, and the starfish! The sail with the stitching is a great touch and I like the hole in his shoe as well. I like the mast on the deck in two pieces lashed together. Good composition, and very nicely painted!

Wellhaving been seeing this from the drawing to the finalmaking ihave to saythat eventhe pictures are good, they dont give it the fairness this piece needs . Since ithappens to be pretty close toBabis, and having seeingthis step by step , i have realised how much work a piece like that needs , Endless hours for everysmall detail , and everything to be arranged properly .

I saw it in many different stages live and at the Athens Show i stared it for long time . I wont comment for the sculpting quality , nor for its masterfull painting , with all pastel colorations achieved. But i need to comment for the fresh idea andthe different thinking of Babis that made thispiece true. Thats what my idea of miniaturing is,to make something different along with the classic releases.

One step up my friend, and waiting for the next one !!!!

thank you all for your comments,thank you Mauricio,Arthur,i also like very much the parrot,i studied the colors before i start to paint and i tried to paint it very carefully because is very small and is very easy to comfuse the colors,in very sort areas the color change from bright green to bright blue,all the bird is not more than 0.5 cm....
