Good Day All,

Here is my latest figure. It is an older piece from Art Girona. I have been having trouble finishing a project lately, so I decided to push through and get this finished. The result was a little sloppy, but it is done.

Classic from Latorre I think & know what you mean - sometimes you just gotta push through.
What are you most happy with?

Great job Rusty, love the diced band on his Kilmarnock, or is it a Hummel Bonnet in this era? Great figure despite the age and a great paint job to boot, hope it's sorted your painters block now.

Cheers Simon

Thanks Mike, I would say the part I am most pleased with is the head. It was the first thing I painted. Then it set on my bench for a couple of weeks. I decided I wanted to get this finished to take to Atlanta, so I completed the rest of the figure in a little over a week, which is really fast for me. I took some short cuts, but it turned out okay. The white gave me fits for some reason.

Simon, Mike and Mobo,

Thanks for your comments, I am glad you like this figure. Finishing a figure feels good. I have started at least five projects and put them up lately. I hope this and a trip to the Atlanta Figure show this weekend gets me back in the groove.

Something I have found, go to a good show and it revitalises ones enthusiasm for the hobby, so have a good one.

Do tell us what Atlanta is like - heard good things about it as a show.

Mike, I used to go to Atlanta on a regular basis, but stopped going, as it is a twelve hour drive each way. Last year was the first time I had been in several years, and it was just as I remembered. The people there are great, and the show has lots of great work on the tables.
