After spending some time on the back drop I returned to the bust to add a few extras that I like to do with my pieces.
First of all,the covered shako should have a rear peak which is missing from the kit,for this I just added one from plasticard and magic-sculp.
I also added the musket sling which I made out of lead-strip which was cut and shaped to suit the pose and fit across the shoulder.
I also decided to add a wound bandage to the right hand, for this I again used magic-sculp and also added a ammo box from my spares box.
I also added the water bottle stopper cord from lead wire which was cut and positioned on the canteen.
A tear was added to the jackets left arm again using magic-sculp and an additional tear was created in the shako cover.
These don't seem a lot but they give so much to the finished piece r-creating the battleworn campaign look which I like in my pieces.
Now for the primer
