WIP Critique Pvt 4th Middlesex Mons 1914 (tommy's War 54mm)

Finished the figure - just need to complete his base and label. Will post him as complete when I get that done. Moving on to Tommy's War #2 Pvt Lincolns at Mons. I should be able to improve with my next one....learned a thing or two about khaki.

Photographs could be better.

Thanks Ed - I took my ideas for the uniform colours from an earlier posting on the TW 1st Lincolns at Mons by David Lane - so thanks to him.

Uniform- Undercoat - GW spray skull white
First coat Rembrandt sepia
Khaki - WN Blue Black + WN yellow ochre + WN raw sienna + Titanium White
Once dry, glaze/wash with raw sienna to increase the yellow/brown hue a bit

Puttees - Sepia + unbleached linen

Webbing/equipment - Various mixes of sepia + cadmium yellow + raw sienna + mars black + tit white.
