I have in my gray army a Fonderie 120mm. mounted kit of Vercingetorix,
he is holding the sword in his left hand and holding the reins in his right.
Is this historically correct? Was he left handed?

I like this figure but I'm a bit puzzled, from the pictures that I've seen he appears to be right handed, could the sculptor have overlooked something?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers
Roc. :)

In a coin from the period he appears to be holding a torch in his left hand and the reins in his right. This could have been the inspiration for the sculpting. Roc, what if he was ambidextrous?? Also the Vercingetorix Memorial set up by Napoleon shows him favoring his left.

John, thanks buddy, appreciate your input and so does Vercingtorix, I almost gave him a life sentence in my gray army.

Cheers
Roc.
