Hi Everyone.
Is it just me or is anyone else having trouble with the quote feature?
It does not work at all for me.
All the best.
Ralph.

Works for me Ralph.

Ralph.

I also have this issue and have had it for over 12mth. A simple by-pass, and resolve is to go into your profile, and then under the preferences 'Tab', un-check the 'Rich edit text' option'. However you will lose the smiley option to boot! :(

Mark

"Two bees or not obese dat hiss a questor",
" No mr pond I expect you to dye",
" I like the smell of nose balm in the mourning",
" Feel the Ford Look",
"Yes madam, and you are ugly, but in the moaning I shall be soapier",
"I need your clothes your books and your washing cycle"

Mine's way off I think
Paul

:arghh::arghh::arghh:! So why is Ralphs, and mine not working? .. (The Krypton Factor):D

Not that I am that overly bothered or concerned, in actual fact, I am quite used to it now! ... Adapt and move on. :D

Regards,

Mark.

Mark and Ralph, What exactly happens when you hit the quote button?

Mark, nothing! .. the page drops slightly and that's it. .. very confusing.

"Mark, you could always just do it the more fiddly way of copying and pasting the quote and simply putting it in italics and in inverted comas like I've done with this one.....and maybe changing the colour, ......it may not be as good as a bought one but it could certainly be used in an emergency".

Mark S, A moment ago Report
Its another option, I suppose. :D
Mark

Mark, I think its a pure case of, 'Smilie or not to Smilie'. The workaround does the job, although all the emoticons, get 'mullered'.

Mark

I can understand that will remain a problem.....OK here's what I suggest,...again it will be a bit fiddly but every time you quote something and you wish to add an emoticon you'll have to go through the process explained earlier regarding quotes and then take a selfie of yourself expressing which ever emotion you wish to convey at that point and simply download that image and insert it into the appropriate place within the copied and pasted text.
May be a bit of a extra mucking around but atleast you'll get your point across, which is after all the whole idea.....:smug:.
