Another addition to Young Miniatures ever growing line is Ramses II cast in yellow resin in 4 parts. The bust is packed between layers of foam in Young's traditional sturdy black box with a clear plastic sleeve surrounding it.

Above you see the beautifully cast hear of Ramses with only a mold block on the back to remove.

Above you see the chest portion of the bust with the attention to detail we have learned to expect from Young. There is a small mold block under each arm and another mold block at the bottom of his chest. The bottom photo shows the detail sculpted into the neck ornament.

Above you see the head and shoulders dry-fitted after carefully removing the mold block from the bottom of the head with a dremel.

Above is the snake ornament that fastens to the front of his head piece.

Above is the standard plinth Young uses with all of his busts.

Conclusion:
Another excellent bust from Young with only a few mold blocks to remove. Highly recommended!!

I like this version of Ramses,
But every time i see a bust from Young i see the same face ala Yul Brynner.
I can be wrong, but it is just my feelings about Young's bust's..
