This is the one I made for myself, when I wanted to get comfortable with a wet palette:
As I mentioned before, this worked pretty well, but I knew I wanted to buy a commercially-made wet palette, eventually.
The container bottom and lid both cracked at their edges, with constant wear. As the brown paper wore with use, it shed fibers. The sponge got moldy, though I cleaned it frequently, including nuking it in the microwave on a regular basis. I could have made another one, but I've learned that there is such a thing as being too Dutchy. I do not regret buying a commercially-made palette.
