Finally finished another figure. This time it is from Andrea Miniatures.
It is a 54mm and entirely painted with oils.
Let me here what you think off it.

Hi Marc,

Very nice set.

I think that the snow should also appear on the top of the headgear.

And the drum shouldn't it have some more work?
I'm saying this but I wish I could paint as well as you.

Cheers,
Paulo

Thanks Paulo,
I did the snow on the headgear but i didn't like it, so i whiped it off.
What kind of work on the drum do you mean.
Thanks for your comment.

Hi Marc,

Beautiful classic scene my friend. Well done.
My only comment....More snow, everywhere......on the top of his headgear and on the top of the drum. More snow...

Cheers

Hi Marc,
I'm glad to see you overcome the problems you had earlier with this piece. It's come together well.
IMO the snow is either all covering or not there at all or at least only on frosted highlights.I've got this one still on the back burner myself and I'll be just using the frosted highlights approach(nose, moustache, hems etc.)Well done, Marc.
P.S-Keep in mind though I live in a country where you're lucky to get ice in your drink!

Really nice piece with some good work on it / One remark only , but i dont know if is the picture to blame .. The kids left eye seems to bit a tad more intense or big than it should IMHO . But i dont know about the picturing angle .

Nice work in all, and pretty cold !!!!!!!

best Regards
Costas

Good work Marc...I'm working on that piece at the moment. I don't know if you had any problems with it...mine is looks very smooth so far. I would like to see some more highlights and shadows on the grenadier's helm...it looks a bit flat. I believe it's a great piece overall.

Overall, very nicely done, this is a kit I plan on doing and will probably be one of the few Andrea kits I buy; that having been said, I won't belabor the snow issue, but I think the fleshtones are bit warm. Great work overall!
