Thanks Marc, the square will be cutted off on the painted version for the box art, but the cross will be placed on the kit as you can see it, with that square. Here I am only showing what you get.
It is a very thin piece and it could break during shipping without that sprue. It tooks a few seconds to remove it with a cutter.
