I always thought that Dick Winters represented the ideal soldier. Both his portrayal in BoB and his real life demeanor showed a person who had real values, knew what they were fighting for and yet took no pleasure in doing a job that was one of the most difficult one can imagine. I had real respect for him and I think most people that knew him felt the same way. War can change people and yet he seemed to maintain that balance of values without ever losing sight of what was really important. A real professional and great human being.

Sad news.:(
My condolences to his family.

I WANT TO WROTE THIS FOR YOU COPY FROM MY BLOG:

His name is Jordan Brown is 11 years old and lives in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania, NEARBY one of his heroes, Major Dick Winters, Commander of "Easy Company" who served in World War 2 and we all watched a series called "Band of Brothers" produced and directed by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg back in 2001.
The purpose of this selfless little boy, is trying to raise as much money as possible for these heroes have a memorial in St.Marie Du-Mont France a little town that helped liberate the Nazi tyranny in June 1944. For this, little Jordan has already raised about 22000USD with bracelets he created for this purpose. This is to remind everyone and ask everyone to help this project by buying the wristbands so this child's dream come true and honor these heroes will never be forgotten. Here´s is the link of the project where YOU can quickly and securely via Paypal help this project.
I've helped, and you?
