I think I can learn many things from your work.
I'm looking forward to completion of your work.

Hello guys and thanks for your comments :) here I post some pics of my humble photo studio set, only 2 blue bulbs (white light) 65watts, my tripod and a background sheet, for the gradient look I use another white light bulb but less watts, only 15watts.
I don't use flash for my pics, the setup for my Sony cyber shot is a macro, incandecent light or automatic, normal picture mode, ISO 100, max of resolution and always optical zoom no digital zoom.
Hope the pics helps more than words...

Simply Awesome!

Whats your mix for the leather parts on the saddle? Leather is always a challange!

Hi Anders, for leather parts are simple, just a mix of browns with chocolate brown + black + english uniform + green brown, thats the easy part. Then I painted like "dots" severals color tones, like orange brown, umber red, cadmio marron, etc...
The scratches was painted with the base color + sunny skintone
The tonal variations for leathers change with some sunny skintone for lighter look and a bit of black for darker look, also a good choice is mixing black with dark prusian blue...

Here new pics with another background, just testing :)

Working on metals

Hello, now I'm working on metals of the knight, the color mix the same of the sword, first a base of black, then a mix o boltgun metal + black, for lights more boltgun metal and finally chrome silver. Then some color tones with oils, some purple red and black for shadows, the purple red to give it a colder look, hope you like it...
