Hi hardy,

I've read your last article with great intrest and am looking forward to the next. I would like to ask you one thing though. Can you please explain the techniques you use? We can look it up at the internet, but there are a lot of people intrested in your technique who don't have acces to the web.

Keep up the superb work,

Gino

P.S. Will you go to Trucks and Track at Folkstone?

I think when you can see the structure of the painting in an image like this one it helps explain alot better. The figures face is tiny, so every and brush stroke is hidden and can't be seen with the naked eye.

Hey Hardy!

Great work! I too agree that big images like this helps one to study the techniques used. Might not be pretty, but it sure is good to use as reference as where to put the brush strokes, where to start and end highlights and so on. Thanks for sharing, wouldnt mind seeing a super blow up like this of the heraldry and from your superb stippling technique!
