A nice action pose and good to hear he will have the musket in his left hand.
I am no expert on the uniform, so I can't help there , sorry.

Amazing attention to detail on this with the various textures Hugo.
Also drastic pose maybe balanced by the rifle as well as showing movement in the slung equipment. Attached photo, though from another era, may help show leap & equipment bouncing away from body.

An ambitious project, well done!

Happy 2016 to you & your family.

Stay safe
Mike

Hugo ,

Good textures on this especially the coat , agree with Mike about the equiptment being positioned in a movement in relatin to the dramatic pose .

As for the uniform it certainly matches all of my references

Thanks for sharing

Hugo, Great looking piece of work. Love the action pose, attention to detail. Wow on the textures on the cartridge box, leggins and cloth! Hugo, really looking forward to seeing this in production. What scale is it?

I like the jockey cap! Question on the fringe on the jockey cap crest ( it resembles a mohawk)...Is this artistic license? I know the jockey cap was worn a lot. Not trying
to be condescending. Just curious.

Looking forward to seeing this in production...I'm a big fan of Robert Rogers and his Rangers. PS< grew up reading DC Comics Tomahawk character set during the Rev War. Loved the recent Turned series on AMC and their usage of Robert Rogers and Butlers Rangers.

Thanks For Sharing!

Hi Hugo

Will the kit have such things such as the water bottle, knife, powder horn and others as separate parts, as I think these need a little more movement, he has just stepped up onto the log at a running pace, so there would be a little more movement in these, don't get me wrong its a very dynamic figure and the pose is great, but please don't miss an opportunity to get everything to look great, you have put a lot of good work into this and the renders look fantastic, but I think you have the time and the chance of changing it before doing the master print, so give it a go, if you think it would add to the figure.

Dave
