Hi Planeteers

I am currently painting a 54mm Rogers Rangers figure (1753-1760) and can't seem to find any reference for the piping on the cuff area. The main uniform is green with silver buttons, so I am persuming the cuff detail is either green or red. Can anybody help please.

Cheers Steve Walks

They were either plain green, or green with white piping depending on the uniform. Osprey has a good reference on Colonial Rangers. Gary Dombrowski will hopefully chime in, he has several good references on RR's.

Steve, the cuffs are green. Silver or white lace or piping would if at all be worn only by officers given the nature of their duties.~Gary

Thanks Guys

I knew the Planeteers would have the info, post your question, go for a coffee, come back and there is your answer, what more could you ask for !!!

Cheers Steve Walker
