Hey Guys,I don't know much about politics and personally I don't like it ; Therefore,I will leave politics to the politicians.

I choose to go on painting and sharing it with all you nice people.

I finally got around to painting the legs and feet .
Advice and critique is certainly welcome.

Next I will paint the sandels , arms and hands, hopefully time permiting, I will be able to post some more pictures over the weekend.

Roc :)

Kenneth, my friend, thanks for the ecouragement much appreciated.

I really haven't painted the sandels yet, what you see is a very weak undercoat of apple barrell acrylic.

I will paint the sandels in oils over the weekend and I'll post some pictures.

the following is the formula that I will be using.

Sandels.

Undercoated with Apple Barrel acrylic Burnt Umber,

1 - Base= Mars brown + Alizzarin brown.

2- Memium shadow = Windser blue added to base mix.

3- Deep shadow = pure Windsor blue.

4- Medium highlight = Mars brown + Mars orange.

5- second highlight = Mars orange + Naples yellow.

6- Extreme highlights = Naples yellow.

When dry I will give it deeper shades with glazes of Windsor blue and more enhanced highlights With glazes of Naples yellow, and into the oven at a temperature of 140 degrees for a couple of days.

weathering is done by applying a couple of controlled washes of Raw umber.

Roc,thanks for the colour mixes;I'll keep it on file for my next Roman/Greek figure.Looking forward to the finished product.Cheers !
Kenneth
