Hi Marc, very nice work mate. Love the muted colours. I would prefer less of a stare, but it does add another level to this piece.
Only observation is the lack of the ties to the cheek guards.

Hi Marc, you could use thin wire or, to save painting it, a suitable colour of sewing thread.
