Hello,

excuse the doubleposting, I'm new here and just found the Brutal Honesty section. And since I would like some honest feedback and critic - the only way to know where to improve - I post this model again in this section.

Very nice Lukas, that's a really nice rendition of that figure. I like it a lot.

Welcome to planet Figure. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Very nice, great muted tones which I think suit this type of figure. My only critique would be his sword is too dull. I maybe wrong, but I would think that these soldiers would keep their weapons in tip top shape. The rest of the metal work is suitably toned. The groundwork is outstanding
Ben

I agree with Ben. Other than a touch up on the gladius, anything else you do would only make this figure different, not necessarily better. I think this is a beautiful piece as is!

Joe

Thanks to you all. I agree with you, that the galdius as well as the helmet turned out quiet dark and dull, mostly because of the technique used to shade it. Since I painted the legionary, I changed the Metal colours and to a certain degree the approach on Metal, so it would be a bit more shiny if painted more recently.
