For me the point here is less to do with Piotrs painting about which people have been somewhat over generous IMO, but much more to do with his appalling attitude and response to what was simply a gentle observation about an element that detracted from the whole.
It might well be that in the 'flesh' the sheen on the cape is less noticeable so presumably Piotr was/is perfectly happy with it.
................. actually I was going to make further comment on his attitude but I can't be bothered...... as far as I'm concerned if last Monday is the last we hear from him GREAT (y).

Late to the party as ever, but if I had seen it I would have said this.

Cape is way to glossy....

Possible reason, You painted nice RED oil paint fresh from a tube (maybe squeezed on to a crock or plastic mixing dish etc) on a dry acrylic base.. a hard surface... the oil has nowhere to go but out of the paint surface ...shiny.
